No worries, but as said previously, speeds above 1/8th I believe you can do intermediate speeds between the clicks, and obviously it is true for the aperture also

There are too many factors involved. Sometimes you can tweak the aperture till it bleeds and have the shops dev it a bit under to kill your rvp. The basic thing to remember is stick to a consistent workflow and don't worry about the half stops. If you really hate the clicks, you can take out the ball bearing on the ring so it doesn't click.
