A year ago I was shooting with my Nikon F3 and Mamiya RB67. After lurking on this forum, I decided to sell my Mamiya system and buy an Olympus XA. An apple for an orange, I know. I bought the XA mainly as a travel camera before I left to study abroad in England. I couldn't see myself hauling around an RB67 and enjoying it. Anyways this is my first rangefinder. It's getting more and more use, and I am truly happy with this diminutive camera. It is my perfect companion for my Nikon F3 with 105mm f2.5. The Nikon hanging on my shoulder, and the Olympus around my wrist. It is great to bring to music festivals, since it's not a "professional" camera. It is practical to keep it with you at all times to take snaps even with a flash. My excitement about the camera led me to put together a silly series of photos of a friend who was injured when I visited him in Charleston. Something I haven't really done before. So I wanted to share this little series, Wounded Jeraffe, and my experience with my XA.

Also if anyone is interested to know, I have recently been using the A11 flash with Fuji NPZ 800 film. I set the XA to meter at 800, and I set the A11 to 400. You can use it in flash mode or drag the shutter by moving it from flash mode to the desired aperture. The highlights are pretty harsh, but nothing is really blown out. There are some photos of it in my flickr account. Just look for the straight on harsh flash lighting.
