My M3 has light leak. Help!

After getting my M3 back from David Yau for a CLA,
I observed some unpleasant light leak.
Any of you know the possible causes of the light leak?
The light leak always appears at the same place of the frame, but sometimes with different intensity here or there and the pattern looks a bit weird.
I have no idea what could cause such a weird pattern.
Hopefully some experts here can shine some light..

Too bad, because that second shot is really interesting. Has the leak shown up on more than one roll of film?

Yes, I have tried several rolls.
C41, E6, this lab that lab.
Every roll has about 2-3 frames with light leaks.
But not every frame in the roll.

It looks like the baffles may not be replaced properly or the rear door could be leaking light on either side.

I'm leaning more toward the baffles..

I suppose if I went to Kindermann the first place, I wouldn't get this headache now.

Well.. have you tried contacting David Yau first to explain that you have a problem with the CLA he just performed?

I wonder if he will be willing to follow up.
He didn't charge me taxes for the CLA, in exchange I don't get an invoice.

That is what it looks like to me.. The baffles were probably re-installed incorrectly.

If he's not willing to fix it right he's not much of a trusted repairman as far as I am concerned..

Well, I would seriously suggest trying to contact David as he's always, when I've had things done, stood behind his work.

Like most things, let's not start bad mouthing a guy without first at least letting him know that there's an issue with what he's done 🙂

Light shield or shields. The unwanted light is coming from the front. If prints are sent to the repair person, or else these files if he is on e-mail...

leaks from front as leaks from the back on colour print are orange
