This is indeed a happy day!This afternoon I was getting my regular fix (result this time the perfect camera-case for my Leica gear- I'll make another thread of it- ) and YES! Despite the feet-dragging by our local Leica importer they managed to get a camera for me "during the course of next week" Yippee!!

Lucky you. I had hoped that mine would ship today, but the dealer didn't get it today as thought. His follow up with Lecia indicates that it will get to the dealer on Monday. I was hoping to have it for the weekend, but I will have to wait.
