I love 1950's quality
Hi,
the lens is easy to take apart. You need a lens spanner-tool for the rear and front elements. Mine came out really easy. Undo the bellows from the lens/shutter assembly first. I started with the rear element as this was the easiest. I don't know how to clean the mold, though, as my lens was pristine.
For the bellows: Take the film pressure plate out and tilt the camera up. Look down. Do you see the little "hook"? There is one on top and one on the bottom of the assembly that holds the bellows. You have to unhook those in order to get the bellows out.

Hello
great work, well done.
I have a nice Mamiya Six automat, apart from
the lens.
Do you or anyone have tips on taking the lens apart
for cleaning. I think there is a bit of mold :-(
Also how do you detach the bellows at the film plate end ?
I can see the screws at the lens end but not the other end
Thanks for any help

Really fantastic job! This makes me yearn to get my Certo Six rangefinder fixed (adjustment screw is stripped).

Hello
Thanks for the tips.
I got the lens apart suprisingly easily, and it cleaned up ok.
My next step is to find a way to adjust the "back focus"
as the camera seems to focus a little past infinity.
Thanks
