je2a3 > Hopefully these photos are clear enough to show how the curtains attach to the four rollers. It's easier to mount the curtains with the chassis removed from the body. Unfortunately it means you'll need to remove the front screws and everything else holding the chassis in the body. Also start with curtain 1 first.

With the shutter uncocked:

This is great mgchan, truly kind of you to post these pictures! I've managed to take it apart and reassemble. I'll study the pics and as soon as I find time I'll try again.
 
Aww, now I'm wishing I had picked up one of these as a project camera after all. There were a few on ebay a while ago in need of some work but I didn't get a bid in on time.
