My new book "In Significance"

Got my preorder in! 😀

Colton, the book might be titled "In Significance", but if anything your work has been an "In Spiration". I've always enjoyed seeing your images online, so it'll be great to see them in a physical book.

Any of your Xpan work in it?

On another note, you can technically take a 100 or so books that were printed and set them up as Limited Edition taking a few select photos and making prints and including them with the book. THis is what Jim Goldberg (Magnum Photos and a few other photographers) does with his self published books all the time (He'll also take paint pens and individualize the photos and messages on them too).

For this book, I only selected from my 35mm (24x36) format images.
I don't have an Xpan 🙂 although I do have a Bronica ETRSI with the 135W panoramic back.

Don't sell yourself short Colton. Like I've said before, you are Shore without the schnoz, and Eggleston without the egg...

It is generally standard to do a limited edition with a print. Since you are doing print on demand, you could do a limited edition with a few more images, and then pick a few prints and offer it up together with a choice of print. Or you could even offer all (however many prints) together with a book. Make yourself some money.

I posted an add in the classifieds with more info and a link for pre-ordering.
Orders will be shipped as soon as I get initial quantity of books, and I will order more from the publisher as soon as I get enough pre-orders.
The listing says 1-2 weeks for shipping, but I will do all that I can to ship orders sooner.

Too bad our paths have not crossed on my annual trip to Ashland (now, alas, cancelled this year due to coronavirus and the cancellation of the OSF season). I just placed an order for your book and am excited to see it. You’re continuing a valuable tradition of finding photographic beauty in ordinary objects... Walker Evans and Stephen Shore would be proud, methinks.

Would have loved to meet up on one of your trips. Maybe it will work out in the future. I'm a bit worried that ALS has taken nearly all of energy, and lately it has become very difficult for me to go out. I will keep trying though .
