Yesterday i got my new HP G 4010 scanner, altautgh i wanted 4050 but HP dealers in Macedonia didn't have it in stock and i needed scanner for one tv commertial that i'm doing right now so i did not have any time to wait and i pick up 4010. At first look it looks pretty solid and large. I did my tests with photos and 35mm negatives and it became too late (3am) so i will continue tonight.
At first glance scans from photos were OK but it needed more tweeking with negative, i found that Vuescan (demo version) is much better than suplied software but there is a problem with Fuji Superia film stock that it doesn't have preset for that type of negative, these days i will post my test shots
