There's my Proctor-Silex!
I just got a new to me IV Sb2.
Much easier to use VF than my IV IIS. It also has a 1/1000 shutter speed that the IIS does not. The speed can be set with the shutter cocked or released. It is only slightly larger than my Zorki 1 and my Fed 1. (a couple of mm)
It has a couple of very small dings on the top plate and the chrome is dirty. It should clean up very nice. I plan to use it as my pocket camera with a collapsible Serenar 50/1.9 and VCII meter. I would not be afraid to carry it around because it already has a couple of dings.
All the excitement and joy was cut short as I took the camera to my camera repairman. I brought it in for the new to me $89 CLA. I had not seen my friend for over half a year. He had no hair and black circles under his eyes. Also he had a soft cough. Yes it's that.
Cameras are only steel and brass. We attach far too much meaning and value to them. They are just tools. People are made of soft irreplaceable parts. We don't honor and value them enough. They are more important than any tools.

Thanks for the report, Lance, and congrats on the IVSB2. Very sorry to hear about the camera repairman.
