Looks good and i see there are similar items (lots of them!) at reasonable prices for a 5N on eBay. Any recommendations?

Hi MIKhail, the half case protects your precious camera from scratches and make your camera look unique.

Outside of looking good and protection, some find the leather half cases to add a nice amount to the camera grip. I found that to be the case with my NEX-5N, but I ended up not using the one for my NEX-7, because I prefer the feel of the NEX-7's grip without the case.

I like using the half case with my Nex7 (I got the TP case)

I think I will be getting the Gariz though (even though it is twice the cost), since it has a metal bottom plate, and access to the battery and memory card without taking off the case. I'm just waiting for a light brown version.

i'm using " Leather Explorer" half case with my nex7,
it has a metal bottom plate, great quality and reasonable price (USD 74.9). Don't need take off the halfcase while I access battery and memory card.
i love it.

I posted a question in the general accessory forum, but I should probably ask here too in case it's specific to the Gariz NEX-7 case - is your attachment screw key floppy, or does it snap up against the baseplate like a Leica M baseplate key?
