My Oly SP arrived

My SP came today. I did some minor cleaning and some checks and it looks good. Shutter speeds seem OK and it is in good shape and came with the case and book, both also in great condition. The focus is correct and very smooth. The light seals will need to be replaces and the rangefinder seems to have a very light haze inside.

Can I clean this myself? Are there any instructions on the web for this? I didn't expect it to be crystal clear but since I don't have one to compare how clear should the viewfinder be?

Also, I bought an RC to play with. This one is coming on Friday.

Looks like the hood and red-reptile-skin are on the RC, does the SP take the same hood?
I've got the original lens cap and leather case on my SP, wish I could find an original hood myself. 😕

Man, I didn't even take a look at the camera. It's an RC. Mondays................

I don't have the RC yet, but it does have the original hood. I paid a premium for the lizard skin RC and hood. The SP takes a 49mm filter and the RC a 43.5 I think. I doubt if the hood will work for both.

Can anyvody give me a heads up on how clear the rangefinder window should be? Like I said, It is useable but a touch hazy. I just want to know if that is normal.

I shoot with an Oly 35RC. Mine is very clear. RF is well-defined. Takes great pictures.
