The eyepiece built-in diopter correction only goes to +1.0. It's not that hard to design it with a larger range of correction.

Well, that's OK. I'll just purchase a supplimentary diopter to add to the eyepiece like I do with my Nikon. Except, no, it is not offered.

I've never used a camera wearing my eyeglasses, but I guess I am now. It's always good to learn a new skill, however unwillingly!

Only one complaint? Not too bad, really.

Yep, I find I'm wearing the glasses more and more full time. Maybe I'll get used to using the camera that way. Of course, I have general use bifocals, reading glasses and computer glasses and also bifocals I use for bike riding. Maybe I need camera glasses, too!

Still, I hope more consideration is given to the sight impaired with the new Pro.

WOW!!

That IS annoying. I wonder if the higher value was somehow a technical limit imposed by the hybrid viewfinder thingy.

Either that...or Fuji was just kind of thoughtless.

(I just received my X100 and haven't had a chance to use it.)

Robt.

I don't think it was a technical limit, Robert, although many manufacturers seem to offer only a limited range. My X100 replaced my Lumix LX5 (I know, not the same thing at all). Panasonic had a wide range of -5 to +5 on their electronic accessory viewfinder.

I hope you enjoy your X100 as much as I do mine.
