Jamie you are definitely on to something. Putting books together is a great way to help in the editing process which can be painfully difficult. It also helps with understanding the flow of the work.

Allen,
Exactly. I've been going back through all my digital files from the past 4 years or so, culling out the junk and marking interesting stuff. There's way too much to keep in my head, so I'm going to first send a bunch of these files (maybe a couple of hundred) to Shutterfly and have them printed 4x6. Then I'm going to start spreading them out and having a look, looking for themes that might not have been obvious to me before. From this I'll move to the book. At least this process will get all my "what ifs", "whys", and "what for's" out of my head and onto paper. Then I'll take the book to my critique group and have them 'rip the snot' out of it! 😛
Been awhile since I posted something in my photo diary. Here are a few from this past six months or so. The family decided we needed a dog, so... here he is. Simo the Wonder Dog is a Formosan Mountain Dog mix rescued from Taiwan.
Thanks, Helen. B&W processing was done using Silver Efex. Camera was the X-Pro1 for the first three images, X70 for the last two. The "Tilt-Shift" image was made using a Voigtlander SL 28mm lens and Kipon Tilt-Shift adapter on the X-Pro1.
Cheers,
Jamie
