My Silver M8 is on the way...

Oh, boy. I had ordered a silver M8 from Adorama back in October, and was hemming and hawwing about cancelling it. In fact, I put a call in for someone from the orders desk to cancel the order, as I've been nervous about getting one in light of the troubles.

I went online tonight to check the status and maybe cancel, and it turns out it's PACKED.

However, I do love the images I've seen (barring the purple and banding) and love my R-D1. I've been shooting with it since 2004. I guess my M8 is on its' way (and maybe before Thanksgiving).

I guess my eBay account is going to be warmed up. Anyone for a 17-40L or 70-200L Canon lens? A slice of my Liver? I can't decide whether to ditch my Canon 5D and all of that glass or the M6 and a few zooms.

*gulp*--someone stop me and tell me to send it back!

Congratulations! Don't worry, the camera needs a learning curve, a Leica M8 is no different from any other Leica, it needs mastering, but then there is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...:angel:
