A few more slides - these are later ones - I shot them in 2004 and were the last slides I shot. I used to spend a lot of time in Istanbul back then. Unfortunately I didn't photograph it as much as I would have liked.

So this thread has reached to an end. It was a great journey for me going through all those slides. I remembered places and people I had forgotten about and brought up loads of lovely memories. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

May I be the first one to say it - this has been one of the most stimulating threads we have had here in RFF, for too long a time.
Pan's, and Lynn's on his 1979 American tour, have kept me enthralled for many months.
We need many more of these to keep us eager and keen to go on recording the events, travels and adventures we have in our lives.
Photography is a rare 'art' in that it takes us out of the mundane in life, and lets us preserve precious memories and moments in time, whether large or small. Let's not forget this.
