My son met Annie Leibovitz Yesterday

My oldest met Annie Leibovitz yesterday at a political rally. He was as excited as when he hugged the candidate several months back. This time he did not get any negative looks from the secret service.

Sorry no selfies, she doesn't do them.

He is working as digital director for AARP here in Iowa and loving it. Gets to do photography, social media, and design work.

Much better that the day before. At another rally with the VP candidate of the other party a older lady stopped him a few minutes after it started. She said she had noticed that he did not bow his head durning the prayer at the start and said he was not a good Christian. He respectfully answered that he was not a Christian, he is Jewish. To which she said "Get out of here you dirty Kxxx!".

As for what happened to your son, I as a Christian am really not surprised. This so-called false American Christianity of today has taken on a role that I want nothing to do with. Both political parties have their evils & hasn't helped one bit to bring this Nation together. I can't & will not vote for either candidate.

But Bill Clinton is stumping for his wife at a park tomorrow in Greensboro. I thought it might be interesting to go just to take photographs. Never been to a political event like this & was wondering if I might catch any flack by the Secret Service. I'd be shooting with a rangefinder camera.

OK Thanks! I tend to be pretty conservative shooting so a couple of 36 frame rolls in my pocket would be plenty.

Very happy for your son. Except for the lady who I don't consider to be a good Christian. I think she needs to read the Bible more.

As for that "lady", she is not only NOT a good Christian but also not a good person. Good people of all faiths respect others.

Bill - sounds like some great opportunities for your son. I work as an Art Director, but for a much less general market audience, Annie isn't shooting bio-tech devices to sell to laboratories yet. 😉 I wish him and you well.

Attitudes like this really bother me! 🙁 Unfortunately this kind of crap is much too common out here, somewhere in Middle America. 🙁
