I recently re-entered the world of film with a Bessa T Heliar 101 set, My thought was to mess around with it awhile, then if I liked being a film user again, I would trade up to a Leica. Well, I did like it and I traded off my digital equipment for a Leica M6TTL and a 35 Summicron.

But I still have the T.

Why?

The rangefinder works well, naturally. The eyepiece has built-in correction without a supplimentary diopter. On my version, the back is light tight, the film transport doesn't jam, the meter is right on, the Heliar lens is spectacular and the T is fun to use.

The Leica will have to share time with the Bessa.

Enjoy your T!
The Ts that came in the 101 set are especially beautiful with all the metal machined parts. I have one of the standard Ts, and I really like it for what it is. And it's my only camera that doesn't need batteries for the shutter!

I've got a standard T, too, and it makes a fine companion to my M2. I like how the 1.5 mag. rf makes it easy to do precise focusing for landscapes. It seems to me that a 28 on the T and a 40 or 50 on the M2, w/ a 100 or 90 in the bag, would make a simple, versitile kit for travel and whatnot. I also like to use a 50 Elmar on the T; the same general idea as the T/50 Heliar combination.
