listing the sony rx100 as out of stock but in reality they got 20 of them delivered recently and sold 19 before i showed up there to check today!!!
yes folks, i got the last one (demo not included) and it is charging as we play on the net!
it is soooo tiny!
truly shirt pocketable...damn cute to boot!
looking forward to playing with it but will read the brief manual first.

Ok, so this is what your going to carry around with the M4P? I bought my wife a Canon S90 a few years back, great little camera. It's hard for me to go back and forth from one camera to another so good luck with the idea and post some pics.

last week i shot film in a nikon rf and digital with the rd1..it worked well and i was satisfied having some instant gratification with the digital...life is a balance.

I'm doing a corporate video shoot tomorrow and mainly using the Canon T3 with my OM glass (just so it looks to the client that they aren't getting totally ripped off) but the RX100 is just too fun and good to not get mixed in.

Another needle in the digital shooting gallery, Joe. Each one feels better than the last... each one sings the siren call.
Worst of all, it's seductive and has the kernel of truth - they just keep on getting better, smaller, faster. Gotta stop the cravings... can't afford the habit...

I've only played with one in a shop, but I was very impressed. I don't normally pay any attention to cameras without viewfinders, but I could change my mind for the RX100, it's very slick.
