Thought Off-topic was the right forum to post this, as none of the pics were taken with a rangefinder camera.
The camera used on most of the photos was my Olympus C5050Z, a fine camera that only lacks the ability to take different lenses other than some screw-on accessories (and a few megapixels as well). The f/1.8 lens is pretty versatile though, good for macro shooting and general street-shooting. The 3x zoom doesn't quite get you close enough to those inaccessible subjects...
I need criticism! Any thoughts on the photos, you post them. Composing, lighting, angles, subjects, atmosphere, etc. : give me suggestions how to improve my approach on them.
Note, that the only accessory used was my polarizer (where necessary). No tripods, no other filters were harmed in the process.
Oh, and you may want to start browsing the webspace now.

Thanks for the comment, steamer.
I already have one, Zorki 1D, but only one roll of B&W shot. I'll be getting my photos next Wednesday. Too bad I do not have a scanner. No way to put them on the net as for now...

I started out digital and then a year ago I got into the rangefinders. Just keep shooting as much as you can and you'll be amazed with the progress you make.
Wishing you good light

Starting out digital is great for learning the basics of photography, mainly composing. How to capture the essence of the image you see in front of you. You must ask yourself the question: How can I get the essential shown in the picture? I need to compose the picture, I must leave something out to get more out of it.
But composing and point-and-shoot is not the whole deal. I want to learn how to take decent images, only by using my brain and calculating the proper exposure. How aperture settings, shutter speeds and film speeds interact with each other. For the time being, I use this wonderful pocket sized EV chart to figure out the solution. I hope one day I'll be able to conjure that data by instinct, knowing immediately the appropriate settings in any given situation...
One day I'll be a photographer!
