As a Burmese, I can honestly tell you, your photos really show the essence of the everyday life (in Yangon). Great work, Michael.
Great photos Michael. I'm glad you took them in color. The folks here seem pretty much fine to have their photos taken, where photo sets of Bangkok often show people's heads turned away. Is the attitude towards photographers the same between the two countries?
WOW.......thanks so much for that awsome compliment....I really appreciate it.........
cheers, michael
p.s. do you live in Myanmar (Burma) now?
My student told me that it's an ad for a movie.....I once met a photographer who purchased hand painted barber shop signs all around Africa and would ship them home....
Cheers, Michael
Umm...it may be an ad for a movie. But, it says, "Robin Hood, Pyan Lar bi"--"Return of Robin Hood"; Also said, "50 years a ago, a bike well known around the world, England's Robin Hood bicycle." From the info, it seems like a bike ad, to me. But, then in Myanmar no one cares about copyrights, so anything and everything can be copied to be used for something else.
Hope that helps.
