Other Areas NC Area get together?

Just saw the Triad Highland Games is at Bryan Park in Greensboro the 19th and 20th, but it appears to run about $35 per person. Oh well..
 
Right now it sounds good for me. Any steel reel users going to be there? I could use some help / instruction.
 
Awright, do you guys want to meet during the event or afterwardss for lunch or something?

I think the best place to meet is in the corner of Academy and Chatham, where the performing artists are.
 
I live closer, so I guess it's a lot easier for you guys to set up a time.....
I'll be there with my 3 women ;)

Alternately, we could meet someplace else, like a coffee shop or bookstore and then go to the festival together.
 
for all y'all coming from out of town parking will be a bitch.
The best bet is to park in Cary Town Center Mall (Exit 291 of I-40), and then take the shuttle.
The shuttle will drop you of in the corner of Walnut and Kildaire Farm Rd.

So maybe the mall parking lot could be a good bet or the cafeteria in the Barnes and Noble bookstore across the street?
 
Barnes & Noble would work. It's air conditioned and we could hang out and show off equipment while are repective familes browse the store.
 
I hate to be a party pooper, but something has come up and I can't make it the 27th. The rest of you go have fun without me, I'll try to make the next one.
