Just saw the Triad Highland Games is at Bryan Park in Greensboro the 19th and 20th, but it appears to run about $35 per person. Oh well..

I think the best place to meet is in the corner of Academy and Chatham, where the performing artists are.

Alternately, we could meet someplace else, like a coffee shop or bookstore and then go to the festival together.

for all y'all coming from out of town parking will be a bitch.
The best bet is to park in Cary Town Center Mall (Exit 291 of I-40), and then take the shuttle.
The shuttle will drop you of in the corner of Walnut and Kildaire Farm Rd.

So maybe the mall parking lot could be a good bet or the cafeteria in the Barnes and Noble bookstore across the street?

Barnes & Noble would work. It's air conditioned and we could hang out and show off equipment while are repective familes browse the store.
