Need help finding a camera...

..... The Lumix LX3 and Leica D Lux 4 are sold out everywhere.
There are a couple of ebay re-sellers that have the camera.
Both with "seller warranty". I don't like the sound of that. In addition the price is higher than B+H/Adorama etc.
Both Adorama and B+H told me they are backordered at Pany and they have no timeline for delivery. 🙁

I have a project in a couple weeks that requires some sort of small p+s. The LX3 with it's wide lens and decent high ISO is my first choice.
Does anyone have a spare to sell? Any ideas on a seller who may have a USA warranty model in stock?

My next choice is a GRD 2. They seem to be in better supply but not as good in low light (about half of the shots required will be in discotheque type environment). The Canon G10 is out as it is to clunky and I did not get on with it.

Any other camera suggestions. RAW recording is a must.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Amazon has it in stock (only 4 left!) for $574.39. The price has been going up in the past few weeks... but depending on where you live, you might be able to find cheaper ones in craigslist with the warranty still fresh. Too bad I sold mine a week ago 🙁

Hi, i had a for two months a lx3, a great camera, vario summicron zoom, raw, high iso and other things.

I sold it because all this couldn´t do much against the awesome image quality of my dp1 and it´s sensor size, (ihmo) I´d suggest you test one.

Depends how long you can wait but the next GRD III will have a f1.9 lens and rumor has it, it will be out in 3-4 weeks.
