Dear rff members

i have to ask you for a little help. My wife and me started to learn Japanese few months ago, we learned hiragana pretty much, and we would like to improve our Japanese by reading anything (sites, books, comics...) but problem is that almost half of Japanese literature is on kanji. Can someone recommend us some of Japanese kids sites (i believe that there are sites where young kids learn kanji) so we can start with some easier reading.
Also we have intentions to start working in Japan one day (we hope as soon as possible because in Serbia situation is really bad) - so i have another question. My wife has master degree in psychology and currently work as a media researcher for one of Serbian TV stations, and i work in lighting staff in other TV station. Is there any chance to find jobs in Japan in those areas, and is anyone have some experience how to immigrate to japan?

Thanks a lot in advance
Srdjan

Who knows? I wouldn't want to dash your hopes but it is not so easy to emigrate to Japan without marrying one of the locals or having some specific skills that lead to a job offer. I work at NHK as a writer and there are no foreigners on the tech side and no call for Serbian speakers. You might want to ask this question on the lonely planet thorntree forum site. Good luck with your studies.
