Need help: Suggest a 100 speed film...

So I wasn't a fan of Tmax 100 and had some difficulty with the negs in d76. I'm looking for a different 100 speed film that may be a little more forgiving during development. I like delta 100 but have never processed it at home. Acros negs seemed a little thin and super curly but I really liked the look I got after flattening them out for a few days. I've never shot plus-x but was considering giving it a try. What are your thoughts?

You would probably find Delta 100 very easy to process.

However even more "forgiving" during development is FP4: which although rated at 125 is close enough to 100 (and could be exposed as such, if you wished). It's not as sharp as Delta but some prefer its tonality.

I´ve become very fond of this film, developed in Rodinal. I also agree FP4 is great.

No film is easier to process than any other.

You need consistent developer activity, thermometer, and clock. And You need to bring everything to proper temp with a water bath b/4 you start including the tank and reel with film.

If you do all this + agitate the same every time and immerse the same every time, you will not have a problem. Deviate, and you will have inconsistent results with anything.

D76 can not be left in a partially filled bottle even for a day. Make a batch and decant to small one time use bottles. GLASS bottles.

If you hare having highlight blow out, you are developing too long. But I do not know what "having trouble" entails.

Acros + Rodinal are very dependable. Hung to dry properly weighted, you will have no curl problems.

Most 100 speed films need great care in processsing or you will get blown highlights from over development. If you like a softer contrast neg then pull film speed to 50 and give 50% less development.
