Need honest opinion on Leica II and IIf value

Ok, long story but I will get to the end ...

I have a Leica II model D and a IIF red dial.

Both are in need of repair.
I can salvage parts from either of the two (hopefully the parts I need are the same).

I need an honest opinion on which one to restore (and I mean in terms of $ value).

The IIf is a better camera. I'm not sure that parts are interchangeable between those two.

Probably just sell the Leica II as a parts camera.
