Hi everybody,

I am in testing-fever, tested my personal ISO and developing time for Tri-X in XTOL 1+1 today. I now want to test Fuji Neopan Acros 100 in XTOL 1+1, but unfortunately neither Kodak nor Fuji datasheets show any times for XTOL 1+1. Fuji only lists 8 minutes for XTOL stock. Could you give me some advice for which time to start with, when using XTOL 1+1 with Fuji Acros?

Thanks and kind regards.

The massive dev chart here is a good place to start. I have varying water temps at home, but in a "standard" I've found that at 20C I do 9.5m or 9.75m with the regular agitation (30s to start, 10 seconds every minute). Works nice. I also sometimes let it rest the last two minutes.

Thank you very much!

jano, I bookmarked DevChart, but the time you mentioned worked perfectly! I reach ISO 80 when developing in XTOL 1+1 (20°C) for 9,5 minutes. The densitometer says:

ISO 80:
zone I --> 0,09 logD
zone II --> 0,22 logD
zone V --> 0,73 logD
zone VIII --> 1,29 logD

Seems to be ok, so I will use this ASA/time in the next time.

Thanks again,
