New to the forum here...thanks for having me!

Anyway, i just picked up a Neoca 2s Rangefinder here at a local camera shop, in their $10 bin....Camera is really in great shape...double stroke works, shutter speeds seem accurate...glass doesn't have too much fungus lol....the focus is butter smooth, but it doesn't couple with the rangefinder....the viewfinder patch is stuck at like closest focus....

the front half of the lens comes off, and you can access the shutter mechanism by removing the little star ring, but i can't find any sort of connection through to the rangefinder...There is a tiny hole where it looks like a push rod could connect, that would ride up against the back of the front lens section...but there is no rod....i used a paperclip and pushed into the hole, but it doesn't appear to push on anything, or even go in the hole more than 1/8"....

I'm more than a little mechanical, and quite handy with repairing stuff....i'd rather not have to take apart this shutter though, as that's quite a complex thing....any thoughts on what i might be missing??

and then this image i found online, but i can't actually figure out how to get the film advance lever of, as well as the rewind knob to get the top plate off....

Ok i found the push rod that goes through the lens...it's actually the little rod in between the 2 stops at 12 o'clock.....it pulls in and out, but doesn't have any spring pressure on it....as i'm guessing it's supposed to have....so i need to get the top of the camera off...the rewind knob i can't seem to figure out how to remove....to get it down to this level...

I was wondering if you managed to take the top off.

I just bought a Neoca 2S, which has very dim and hazy rangefinder spot.

So I guess that taking the top off might show some parts to receive some maintenence.

By the way, the image in your post doesn't exist anymore.
