Neopan 1600 - Rodinal

JTK and charjohncarter thank you very very much!
Glad your negs are looking fine, Larky.
Now i`m curious and will try this with my next 1600 too. Last time i did this, the Rodinal solution hasn`t got enough power to bring the speed, but maybe i was just impatient.
Cheers,
andreas

LeicaM3, what kind of trouble did you have with palstic tanks?

Bromide drag with stand development.
To prevent it from happening I had to agitate more than I wanted, leading to overdevelopment.
Tested it by simultanously developing two APX100 films, both shot in the same camera, same lens, same exp. date in a Paterson plastic and a Kinderman steel tank. Same bottle of developer, same bottle of sterile H2O, same temp, same agitation.
Steel won.

There is a thread on APUG about it somewhere with other users having the same issues with plastic and stand development. Can't find it right now. But I know you are better than I am finding stuff on the net. 😀

LeicaM3, thanks, it seems strange, but so do many things in photography. BTW, I will let you know how it turns out because Tuesday I am using Rodinal 1+100, one hour, 30 seconds to start, then normal agitation for five minutes, then two inversions every 20 minutes and I will be using a plastic tank.
