So, I just developed my first roll of Legacy Pro using Rodinal 1:100. I agitated 2x every minute for the first 3 minutes, then let stand for 6 minutes, then another slow agitation for 10 seconds, and finally 10 minutes of rest. I'm pretty happy with the results. Anyone else try this?

Here's some of what I got:

I don't go out as long as you (19 minutes) but I do use reduced agitation. At Rodinal 1:50 I'll develop for 11 minutes and let it stand for periods of up to 3 minutes without agitation.

Coincidentally I have used a semi stand method very similar to what you describe with Foma 100 at Rodinal 1:80 for about 20 minutes. I find it works well.

Hmmm, very nice work. Were all of these developed at 1:100, or were some done using your 1:50 method? Just curious. Also, do you shoot at EI 400? That's how I shot mine. I used stand development in an attempt to counteract the speed-reducing effects of Rodinal. It seems to have worked well. Thanks for sharing.

All three were developed at Rodinal 1:50 for 11 minutes and shot at EI 400 or 800. I like using the reduced agitation method but found the results from 1:50 more pleasing than 1:100.

I like the detail you are getting and especially the information in the clouds/sky in the 4th photo. I think this may be one of the benefits of the longer development times in higher dilution, more detail in the highlight area.

This one is with 25min semistand, Rodinal 1:100, 20C. One minute slow agitation first and then 3-4 inserts in 5min and 15min. My EI for Neopan 400 when developed in Rodinal is 200-250.

I usually rate it at around 320, but Neopan certainly benefits from a little overexposure when using Rodinal. I develop at 1:50, for between 10 and 11 minutes (agitation every three minutes or so), which is a little longer than the `standard' time, as I develop a bit below the recommended 20 degrees. Usually at 18 to 19, the temperature of my tap water (what a coincidence!).
