If you please, Mr Kobayashi, another miracle like the 40mm Nokton; I think a compact 25mm faster than f/2.0 would sell very well. Certainly with the digital fans but also with us film folks. Perhaps a fast 21 too, please? 😀

I think given the hand-holding agreement between Cosina and Zeiss, I'd think that highly improbable. Some odd f-length with f-stop combination, maybe: 19mm f/1.7? Now, that would sell like pancakes.

My guess is a 24/1.9 Ultron. And I just got the 28/1.9, too...

I'm mod'ing my vote and adding a way-too-contrasty 24/2.5 Skopar, too 😛

28mm would be better, but still nice to see some fast lenses.

Voightlander already has a 28mm f1.9

I'd take a 24mm F2.0 although shorter would be better. But, hey, don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Actually, that would be a great combination! Has kind of a nice ring to it. Seriosly it would probably be the largest lens you could design for the M8 (or 7) that would block the rangefinder.
