Where can I find someone to install new bellows for a Certo Super Sport Dolly in the US? I sent mine to someone and he did a repair but that didn't solve the problem--just checked and I see a pin hole. I'd like to keep using this camera--the lens is so nice, but I'm afraid the bellows will continue to deteriorate over time. I'd prefer new if possible. If you know someone who works on folders, specifically 6x6, I could contact them to see if they have bellows or access to new bellows.

Thanks.

Have you checked out Jurgen Kreckal, google Certo 6.
He's done a few for me.

cheers/k.

He said he didn't have bellows for the Certo SS Dolly. He did patch up my bellows but another pin hole appeared. If I can't find a replacement I'll shelve the camera.

That's a drag...

I do know that Sandeha Lynch makes them for the Certo SS Dolly, you can order a set and have someone locally install them, if you don't want to.

best of luck/ken.

I've had some success with Black Silicone Adhesive: identify the pinhole, from the inside apply the adhesive to the hole. Then close the bellows and reopen. recheck the area with a small flashlight. I have found that the LED flashlights are not good for this use a (small) Maglight or equivalent. If the area is closed then leave open to set.

Thanks a lot for that info. I just sent an email. I prefer not to do it myself, and I don't know who I would trust to do the work. I might end up sending it to Sandeha--it's a lot of hassle for a folder camera but i really would like to see this taking photos again.

The light on my iPhone shows the pinhole very well. It's in the corner and looks like it is a tear. I might try your method if I can't obtain bellows from Sandeha or have them installed.

Perfect! Let me know how it works out.

cheers/ken.

I wonder how hard it is to do it yourself? I would be worried about having to disassemble half the camera just to make access to something small yet vitally important.

There is a company that sells custom bellows on Ebay (shipped from Hong Kong) and they are reasonably priced but their measurement instructions seem a little lacking. Perhaps by buying the product, some more detailed instructions are provided?

I didn't like his black bellows, they had a waxy look to them but the red ones are nice.

Sandeha's bellows are not only a work of art, but very precise fitting.

I sent my Certo Dolly SS to Sandeha Lynch and he installed new bellows. Took a little under a month total turn around time. Cost wasn't too bad. I purchased the camera from a seller in Japan and I really liked the constructions of the whole thing. Lens is plenty sharp. One of the neatest things is how you advance frames. You don't have to look at the little red window and count off frame numbers. There is a small dial on the bottom you turn to each frame mark. 1-10 you turn to that frame number mark then turn one full turn again. 11 and 12 are direct turns to the mark. Not exactly perfect but gets the job done without light possible entering through the red windows.

A few snaps around downtown Walla Walla. Fujifilm PRO160NS.

HEY! That's great, glad to hear!

Looks really good.
