Hi all,

I have been on the fence about venturing into the Canon and Nikon rangefinder world. Being a LTM/M guy with lots of various adapters, Canon seemed to make the most sense.

Well, last week I ended up pulling the trigger and purchased a 50/1.4 and 35/2.8 both in the black/chrome livery. They arrived today, delayed by the holiday so I have not had much time with them yet. However, just a great big: WOW! I just love them. Well built, look great, and really nice early results on an adapted X-E1. SOLD!

Congrats, and welcome to Club Canon! 🙂

The 50/1.4 is just fantastic. I just took a few with my Nex and I can't wait to run a roll through the M3 with it. I just picked up my third, a 100/3.5 thanks to that thread.

Canon stuff is excellent, you won't be disappointed when you run a film through your M3. It's so well built - even over engineered. It's seductive too. I have a 50mm 1.8, 100mm 3.5, 50mm 1.5, 35mm 2.8....... I'm hooked.
