New CLE -> 40mm Summicron-C or 35mm Ultron

I have been shooting with the Summicron-C and decided to sell the Ultron. Specially based on size and the framelines of the CLE...
And it has a nice bokeh:

I hope there is no problem I post this here, but because I am "cursed" with the Leica "curse" I decided to sell my CLE kit.
This CLE was new old stock when I got it not so long ago, and I didnt use it that much (have been exploring the medium format world with a Hassie 500c and Pentacon six), so I think it is worth quite a bit...

I made a evil bay auction for this kit, but it looks like only 5 guys are following it, so I wonder... I am pushing the price too high? I admit I want this sale to fund a user M6, but there aint that many "almost like new" CLEs in the market...

Just give me your honest opinion :)

Honestly, yes it is too much to ask for this combo.

This set is almost in the same condition includes boxes and papers and has the "proper" CLE Rokkor.

CLE and Rokkor

I would be willing to guess your set would go for $600 to 700 in a standard no reserve auction. The key is showing how good the condition of the body is in as this will make all the difference.

Good luck.

Oh well... I guess I also wouldnt pay this amount eheh... Now I dont know If I should drop the price now, wait for renewing the auction or... actually not sell the kit.

700 usd wont get me a M6, and this is not the exact best time to spend 300 usd on GAS ;)

a new 20 year old camera has the chance of not working well after so many years of non use and that would be on my mind as a buyer.
a nice set up would go for about $800. u.s.
i might try to sell them separately, the lens for $400 and the body for $500. but it might be tough w/o the box etc.

too bad i am tapped out or i would make an offer on the body.

I dropped the price a bit, but I don't think I'll sell it for less than 850...
And for what I have seen, yes I might get a better price selling them separately... Will think of splitting the auction after this one gets done...

Anyway, thanks everyone for the advices :)

This is a very good point especially with CLE's. Its often after sitting for a while that erratic LED display occurs, caused by oxidizing contacts under the dial from lack of use.

I've never used the 40mm Summicron but I read that it's great. As for the Voigtlander 35mm Ultron f/1.7, the only very few times I've used it, it performed outstanding, it was really sharp in the center and not bad at all in the corners, but since I got the Zeiss ZM Biogon 35mm f/2, I've not used the Ultron at all, I would say that the Zeiss Biogon is better so was the higher price paid...
