MUST RESIST THE 56
(I guess no color yet for the focus peaking)

I don't have plans to get the 56/1.2 so I suppose there's no need to update my X-Pro1 to ver. 3.11 from its present ver. 3.10. Unless there is another benefit I missed.

i upgraded the 16-50 lens but i think i'll pass on the xe1 upgrade…it seems to be about the new 56 which i doubt i'll be getting.

I only have one lens on the list, the 18-55. I am assuming the ois update is for the lens alone, but I plan to update the body fw more of a just in case. Not planning to do this till the weekend though.

It appears that most of the changes are for the 56mm and it's operation with the misc bodies in question. I was kind of hoping to open this thread and find some fancy new feature for my X-E2

Thanks for the heads up Gary, updated without a glitch.

I soon plan to sell the 35 and 60 and add the 56, so this is good news. Thanks for the heads-up, Gary.

Finally at home...
I've updated my X-E1 body and my 18-55 lens. It, again, worked like a breeze.
Amazing, how well Fuji is doing that.
It says that the stabilizer has been improved, but I also have the impression that the AF is faster. Of course, it already fast, so I cannot really proove that.
I normalle update firmware, because there might be some features included that are not listed.

It's not a smart time to sell these lenses... since the sales are in effect. Better to wait until after the sales or you will lose a potential $100-200.

That is true. I would wait for at least a few months after the sale has ended to try and re-sell anything that is currently on sale now. Otherwise you are competing with new pricing that is way low. Unless you want to part with the lens(es) for way cheap.
I was looking at used pricing on a few sites and many are trying to sell above the current new cost.
I forgot to update my X-E2 last night. I need to do that this weekend I guess. I couldn't find anything else that was changed or added minus 56 support. Any idea if we will see improvements to peak focus in a firmware update coming?
Of course, those of you outside the US don;t have to worry about this.

Would that were true, but most savvy Europeans watch US prices, if not devise ways by hook or by crook to make their major purchases there.

Wait until the current Fuji sale is over... wait another month or two, and then off to eBay you go.
