New guy.

Hello from North Texas (originally from NYC). I've been hanging around a while and taking in a great deal of information. I am a tinkerer by nature so, knowing this, I bought several as-is rfs on ebay and am now digging into them. I'm amazed at the bits and pieces in even the cheapest cameras. I did fix the shutter on a Argoflex TLR and ruined the lens on a Kodak Signet (it's amazing how far into a lens a drop of alcohol can get) but that's why I bought them.
Otherwise I have a working GSN and a working Kiev 4 even though it looks like someone took a pipe wrench to the Jupiter 8. You can see some of my photos at pbase.com/bard385.
I sold all but my P&S Sony digital. All the SLR's are gone too.
I do use commercial processors.
More later as needed but right now I am glad to be registered and look forward to sharing with you all.
