New Hermes M8 that looks like MP

Nice tool though, and who says you should not get it scratched? How's it ever gonna look anything like the BP M2 that sold for almost EUR 1900 yesterday on evilbay, if the owner isn't gonna use it!?

Selling 'commemorative' and 'fashion' Leicas makes money for the company.

Making money means they can go on making cameras for people who want to shoot with them.

'Funny' cameras do not detract in any way from the working or photographers' cameras, so why do so many people have such a big problem with them?

I'm thinking that they're missing a BIG market by not coming out with a replica button rewind M2's and double-stroke M3's in "pre-worn" black paint, with the brass showing through. The brass pattern would duplicate the wear pattern on old well used Leicas owned by various famous PJ's of the past, and they'd have the photographer's signature engraved on the top plate.

Perhaps Luigi could figure out a way to create new never-ready cases with scuffed and pre-cracked leather?
