Yesterday I bought a pretty mint IIIF. It has new leather, new curtain, was cla'd recently, barely any scratches at all. It's damn clean. This is my first screw mount Leica and I gotta say, even with the limitations, it's awesome and fun to use!

Here's the camera and a couple from my test roll.

(already had the Jupiter 8)

Oooo....yeah! Looks like my own IIIF. Theses cameras are so ... well, almost...perfect.🙂

My Industar 26 is working fine on mine and I have a Jupiter 8 that needs shimming. Just don't know how to get that done but will hang onto it as it makes a good paperweight. One day, I hope to use it as you have done well with yours.😛

There is a claim that the IIIf is the most aesthetically appealing Leica, more so than the IIIg, which has the enlarged RF/viewing windows.

And I like the minimalist back, not the silver film dial of the IIIg.

Yes, IIIf's rule !

I am a barnack lover too.
the compact size and weight makes it a everyday camera.

my iiic is mounted with a 35mm elmar now.
