Hey guys,
In my travels I have lost the cap for my 40/1.4. I know that finding snap on replacements isn't too hard, but this one had a cool design so that it could actually fit on the lens without removing the hood.
Any idea where I can get a new one of these?

How about the same place you bought the camera? If you bought it new.
Otherwise CameraQuest in the USA, or Robert White in Europe.

I love the design of that cap too but the spring latch seems week and I often worry that I will lose mine. I've never seen one like it either so I would try Cameraquest.

If that doesn't work out I've seen plenty of generic Chinese caps on ebay that will suit your need. They don't have Voigtlander logo, but they're "center-squeeze" caps, so should fit with the lens hood on, like you want.

Avoid Them Like the Plague! I´ve seen too many front elements damaged from plastic outgassing

I like the Nokton 43mm cap so much I just purchased four to use on different lenses. Cost me 714 yen (US$7.35) each. Well worth the extra expense over generic caps. Camera Quest should have them, or will be able to order them if they don't have stock.
