Nice to see that Leica is doing what they can do best! Making cutting edge optics. Yes, the 21/24 are gigantic, but they are f1.4's. The "New" Noctilux is a great bragging rights lens and as souch deserves a spot on the top of the pile of modern lenses for the M-mount cameras.
The 28f3.8 is strange and unless this lens has been designed for aboslute perfection when it comes to resolution and "straight" rendition - I cant figure out its placement in the line-up.
Now, with the 21f1.4, the 24f1.4, a 35f1.4,50f0.95, 75f2 A-A you would have what is probably the best kit there is for Rf shooting. I think that I would substitute the 35f2 A for the 35f1.4 A (based on my experience from that lens) and probably substitute the 50f1.4 A for the 0.95.
What they need to do now is a 28f1.4 A and an upgraded 50f2 Summicron as well as a new 75f1.4 Asph.
Oh, well - it is all hypothetical in my case. I dont need the speed of the 0.95 (didn't need the f1 either) and the size of the 21/24 1.4's would be difficult to accept - but I am still impressed with their line-up.
