I just wanted to say that I was pleased to discover this forum. I am a member of the Leica International Forum which I must say is superb, supported by some brilliant photographers.
I use Leica M system M6ttl and have really never desired to use anything other than colour reversal film, originally, Kodakchrome 25 asa and latterly Fuji Velvia 50 asa and Ilford B&W film.
I live in West Yorkshire UK about 15 miles from the edge of The Yorkshire Dales National Park, a area of outstanding beauty where I have spent many happy hours climbing, walking.
I have had a passion for photography for about 45 years, mainly 35mm with a brief exploration into medium format. I did process my own B&W film but the quality from the Labs is very good nowadays so I leave it up to them. I project colour reversal with a Pradovit 300 projector with a 90mm Colourplan.
Another passion which I get some stick about from the LUF is a love of mechanical watches but more of that if I am allowed and anyone is interested
