any idea as to price?

any idea as to price?
The Chinese site seems to have posted a price of around 110,000 but it could be different. Miyazaki san dictates the prices and I will not know until I get my first lens later in the week.
As soon as I do you lot will be the first to know.

That poster on HKLFC (Hong Kong Leica Fan Club) seems to have a close relationship with MS Optical so I wouldn't doubt the authenticity of his info. I remember in the past, he commissioned and imported a special HK edition of the 28/4.
Anyways, I really don't see the appeal of this lens knowing with the VC Nokton and Zeiss C-Sonnar being around the same price point. As good of an optical designer as Mr. Mizaki is, I would imagine the geniuses at VC and Zeiss are quite a bit better...

OK, I got mine and I have written up a little bit about it for you all. There will be more details available as I finish the translation, but it is going to take some time as it is a big one.

Crazy! The Coma Adjustment is brilliant simple solution to one of the main gripes about a super fast Sonnar design vs a Double Gauss. A really winner. No way they are just doing one or two runs, this one is a really hit in my mind. Hmm, now what could I sell...?

Of course I'm curious how it performs compared to a similar Leitz, Zeiss, CV or Canon glass. I saw an image with both Sonnetar and Noctilux together: This lens looks very compact!. If japancamerahunter could provide an image of the Sonnetar alongside a Nokton 50/1.1? That would be great.

I wish that I could, but I don't actually have one. I shall do some comparison pictures with other lenses.
Thanks

I'd like some pictures with that lens. I might very well replace all my other fast 50's with it considering its tiny size but wide aperture.
Test photos please, no more lens pictures and graphs and charts!
