Hi,

anybody knows something about the delivery of the new Voigtländer
Nokton 35 1.2 II ???

Robert White in the UK have it listed as expected delivery August price £900

I wonder why they think they can charge almost double the price of the old one (or at least the price the old one used to be)? It will be, by far, the most expensive CV lens. CV better hope this thing doesn't lose its magic by going V2.

Based on the above reported Robert White price it is £115 more expensive than the old one here in the UK. They have a few of the old version still listed for £785

The price of the new lens has not been announced.

Robert White doesn't normally list an item until they have confirmation. Being the Official UK Voigtlander distributor I guess they have been given the correct information.

Just looked again Robert White price doesn't include VAT which puts the price up to £1080.

So, based on the UK price (and other CV lenses UK cost vs. US cost), it could be about $1400 here?

Pretty expensive for a simple re-issue of a lens with this much distortion and busy bokeh ....

I don't know if the link is partly for my benefit but I had my tongue firmly in my cheek when I wrote my last comment. I have of course already seen the previous thread about this lens. It made for entertaining reading
