I wonder how hard it really is to build even the simplest VF into a camera these days. The EP-1 is not a tiny camera, so it seems there was a deliberate design decision not to include one.

I really don't see the sense of optional VF's (or powered EVF's for that matter). It seems like such a backward step considering they managed to figure out how to build them into the cameras 50 years ago (and that was with a lot more stuff inside the camera).

We might need to remind ourselves that we are not necessarily the target market. A good friend of mine here at work is buying an EP-1, not because he is a RF fanatic, but because he likes the retro-look and thinks it looks cool.

I wouldn't conclude that the images are BS just because they're no longer being hosted at the same urls. I give 80/20 odds that they are real leaks, not fakes, but of course we won't know one way or another for a while.

The leakage pic were taken off from forum in HK and China as well. Some action was taken from Pana's agent in HK.
