New Photos from a 1959 Summilux 50mm

Hi, these were recently take with an M8 and a 50mm Summilux from 1959. The vignetting was added in lightroom on two of the shots (with the men).

I like the separation of the subjects from the OOF background. The lens does that well. However, the overall look is too plastic. I don't know whether it's the lens's lack of finer resolution or an overly clean digital look, something which I see in too many M8 photos. Have you tried this lens on a film body?

i shoot this lens as my main lens, i love it, its a bitch shooting it on street though. is the focus not really smooth for you?
