Hahaha. You must not have understood what I said.
That doesnt prove anything. Im talking about the speed of manual focus. Using an optical sensor in a lens barrel to control focus which is 100% dependent on the amount of light entering the lens is ****ing stupid. That is bad design 100%.
I owned the camera, btw. I know it was slow to focus based on ambient light level. It was erratic at best.
Dont misunderstand. At the end of the day a camera is just a tool to get me where I want to be. I wont waste my time/money on something that doesnt perform the most basic of functions well.
That is a poor design, but then again the camera is promoted as an autofocus camera. Most people use it that way. Personally, I prefer a good rangefinder in low light, or high end DSLR with fast glass.. but that is me.

No I understand totally, the MF is slow in low light for sure. But I mean, I can still get shots using the AF in low light. It's not as good as a DSLR there, but it's still useable. Considering the camera and lens together are $1100 brand new, and with an IQ that bests full frame current cameras, and an optical viewfinder, if slow MF in low light is the only real problem it has, than so be it.

Let's not get too crazy yet...
