nothing wrong with it at all...in looking back there are a few lenses i wish i had kept.

Actually, I've been doing this all along, it's rare for me to sell a lens, they don't take a lot of spaces and there will always be situations when I really need it.

this plan makes a lot of sense. i have sold lenses to fund lenses only to find that i missed the lens i sold after working with the new lens. moral: don't sell before you're sure of the replacement

They (the lenses) do tend to have their own perspective on things, however

Oh yeah, I support and admire Joe, and I'm doing the same thing! (until I get so infuriated with the disappearance of film and the lack of a viable digital platform that I cash out of the M system altogether).
