I'm interested in the new Kodak Portra films. Have anyone here tried them? It would be interesting to see some samples and maybe a 100% crop to see how the grain looks like. For color negative I currently use Reala.

I don't know. Seems like most stores want to sell of old stock Portra first. But they gave out a lot of new Portra for free in the US.

The Good News: I got my Portra "goodie tube" today. (Was starting to feel left out.)

The Bad News: It's all 120. I only shoot 35. (Thought I made that clear to 'em.)

The Obvious Question: Anybody out here with the opposite problem? Asked for 120 but got 35?

Wanna trade?

PM me if you do!

I was in B&H today and asked the guy at the film counter if they had any of the new Portra in stock. He looked at me like I had two heads and said there was no such thing.

Same response I got at Adorama some weeks back. Meanwhile, I (among others here) am sitting on several rolls of The New Stuff that I can't use...
