Just got my first Bessa and I must say that it is much nicer than I expected. While I was loading film I tried to take up the slack so that the film would lay flat but it wouldn't work...
SO thinking something was wrong I ran thru a roll of film and then tried to rewind it. AT first the rewind knob seemed to do nothing and was obviously just spinning and then it started to rewind the film and did so fine...
Is this usual? Something loose that tightened itself? I don't think there is any spring in the shaft that would have meant the post not fully engaging with the film spool.
Apart from that I really like the camera.
