I've ordered an epson 3 in 1(cx3500), it's valued @ 125$, cheaper than what i've paid here, but customs and taxes would have doubled the price...I can't complain.
I'm still waiting for it...It's coming by the evening i'm excited
I was watching lately for scanners that can really scan photos without adding more cleaning work to do with PS(distortions, wierd waterlike lines).., i had a benq 4300U which isn't actually mine(i've borrowed it till i find a better scanner) in the same time, i didn't want a very expensive scanner, i've heard a lot pof good stuff about this epson's scan and print quality...I can't wait till i try it myself...
Of course it's not gonna be economical inkwise...But one can have a refill anytime even for a brite ink like epson's...the dirty trick of having 4 cartridges instead of 2 or 3 will make u pay more...But no problem it was Hp's policy anyway 😀
About the resolution it's 600X1200 as most flatbed scanners, but the guy was talking about 2400dpi resolution yesterday...I donno how true is what he's saying, but i don't really care, it's more than great for me...!
About film scanning, i was reading that some flatbeds, with a 2400 dpi resolution, can enlarge to some extent a negative(visible and clear), anyone have tried that??
I don't really care about this feature, the 3 in one that would do that should be 3 times mroe expensive than the one i've ordered...
What matters for me is the quality of the scan, and ofcourse the option of printing good pictures..
